Not to be rude...send it back to Audix to fix or replace. They are somewhat of a liberal company, and usually fix things or replace for free. Just talk to a rep. Now, I am not saying lie to them about it being disassembled.
COUCL BE CAUSE BY THE function key(fn) key and lock key (mostly f6 just find for the lock icon) press this key combination again to unlock fn+f6

here is a small digram to help you
You need to go to the Audix terminal and login. Once in the Audix programming, press choices (F6) Depending on your release of Audix, the command you are looking for is something like:
ch sub XXXX (extension number)
Go to the password field and change the password to something, they will be prompted to change it when they login....
