Projector Purple Ghosting

I have a PROXIMA IMPRESSION A2 (kinda old, i know). My issue is EXTREMELY weird. When using my projector in NTSC (through RCA) or VGA mode. There's a purple ghosting in the image that makes it look like it's 3D or something, and there's also a thick purple vertical line on the far right side. However, NONE of this happens when using the projector with PAL videos (through RCA), image looks great. Problem is... i don't have a way to force some sort of VGA PAL... any ideas?

Aperently it has to do with converting the analogue signal to digital or the other way around..rca is the cable type..the signal is what you are having issues with..you may need a converter..it may also require going into the setup menu of the tv and make it recognize the signal..

SOURCE: my proxima dp6155 projector after any time looks

reset the settings to factory default. there may be a resolution issue. make sure it matches the source. if the line is straight and goes right along the pixel line, you may have an lcd issue. if it's blurred, it could be a bad polarizer.

Proxima LP240/250 power supply failure bypass

It's easier to repair the power supply if you're going to that length. If you have a power supply failure, and you already know the voltages, you should be able to trace the failed components. If not, let me know and I'll get you up and running again.

Showing to of the same thing and colors

ghosting or convergance issue is what u have. if the image is in diff colors then deff a convergence issue. however, if the image isthe same color or shaded from the original then this is ghosting. this may be corrected through the menu settings(sinc settings).

Proxima projector A10

reset the settings to factory default. if it's still off, you'll need to send it in to an infocus service center. they'll have to realign the lcd panels or replace the optical engine.
