Tv gets turn off at night, in the morning I try to turn it on and the yellow light on the bottom right just blinks and tv does not turn on. The tv is connected to a surge protector and after turning the surge protector on and off several times the tv finally come on, however it is taking longer and longer for the tv to come on and Im afraid it will not come on at all one day soon
You might want to hook it straight to the wall plus the surger may be fried even though it turns on it may of messed your tv up so i would try that if not then get back with me and i'll try to help more

Most likely the power supply board needs to be replaced. It could also be the T-con board or less likely the display itself.
If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED!
If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.
You have done all you can do. If you had a power outage, when the power came back on a it surged and probably caused a Power Supply problem or something in the micro controller to fail. Either way it 's not good. I would call Toshiba and let them guide you to a Service Facility that can check it out. Depending on your Homeowners Insurance, repairs could be coverd or unit be replaced depending on cost to repair.

Is the light blinking 7 times on front of TV ? If u take the back cover of the TV off you should see two leds on the bottom right of power supply turn on when u push the power button. When the TV go into error protection on the upper left of power supply you should see. A blinking green light. Please inform me of the error it flashes and ill will be able to help further. ( Serveral possiblilties it could be from audio, bad power,and faulty Y-main.)
