Question about Televison & Video
I have a E3D42OVX remote, and I can not, I mean for nothing can not get the back keypad of my remote to work. Help?
Might have damaged. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service center, or authorized dealer to your device brand.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its user manual. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. If you see the sites by "MOSAIC" view, will make surf easier.

Try an other setup code for your remote with your device. Try an other one. Try an other one. In this way, find a code which gives you more functionality. This is the only thing can do in the case of universal remote codes in such cases.

To program the keypad,
first unplug the garage door opener from the electrical outlet. Next,
remove the nameplate from the console that the keypad plugs into and
locate the program/operate switch. Flip the switch to program. Next,
enter your desired four-digit PIN number into the keypad. Slide the
switch back to operate and plug the garage door opener back in. The
keypad should be programmed.
