How do i fix my hp pavilion g6-1b50us audio drive?

There is a step-by-step procedure for solving the problem at this url:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01912228&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c01912228/loc:10&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5128908

This solution applies if you are running Windows 7, but may also work with 8 and 8.1 versions. This gives several potential causes for your problem, but the most likely are the first three: the speakers are muted in the audio configuration; the volume for the speakers or the application (more likely since you can hear through headphones) is set too low in the volume mixer configuration; or your speakers are not set as the default playback device (sometimes SPDIF is set as default instead). The others are pretty uncommon, but can happen, so don't give up if none of the first three corrects the problem.

Hi, I have a 3 year old Onkyo TX-SR506 receiver that I bought secondhand. The receiver can get very dusty so I was cleaning the top with a damp cloth while listening to music. Suddenly the music stopped...

I don't think its a harmless coincidence that it happened while you were touching it.

Assuming 'damp' means 'no dripping' I'd discount mositure as the cause. Was there something else you may have touched or caused to move during your actions, like speaker wires? Retrace your steps (with power off) and imagine what may have moved.

Disconnect the speaker wires at the receiver and see if that helps. If so, you just need to start adding speakers until it fails again or not, then isolate the cause if it is related to specific channel(s). If it doesn't come up 'naked' something cooked inside and a hands-on tech needs to get involved.

In the future - turn it off when manilpulating anything on, near or attached to it.

Left speaker not working!

Unplug the two Speakes, and solder on new I think there is closure in the plugs you can check it with a battery and let the power of the battery on the pins of the plug you will hear a soft hum that is good, you hear nothing but sitting there with the closing 1 / 2 volts is no problem for the save way speakers

Logitech THX Z-2300 only one speaker works. theres something wrong with the input. both speakers work fine but the 1 of the inputs on the subwoofer stopped working, causing only one speaker 2 work

try tapping the speaker box in your palm while the speaker is connected. There might be a bad contact of the wires inside. I had to open up my speaker to find that out. i moved around the wires connected to the cone of the speaker and then started to hear music once i did that. it was the left speaker by the way.

My Maytag gas dryer makes a loud rattle and clanging noise.

Hi,

Prob. some failure of a bracket or loose inside...
Have a local tecnician check it out.
i think that ll be best cause i can't imagine that will be an easy fix.

I hope this is useful, and greets,

Olivier.

Speaker quit working

If you open the phone on your own it will void the warranty. My fiancee had the same problem with his phone. He turned it upside down and lighty tapped the speaker against the padded sofa arm. It instantly worked, by doing this the speaker contact was shifted back into place. If this does not work you should probably send it back.

Dishwasher not empytying

call a pro before you possibly cause damage to unit. the clanging you hear is probably something giving way when the drain pump kicks in and cannot turn. if your mechanicly adept and somewhat adventerous you may try to disassemble the pump and clear it yourself , but i advise against it.
