Looking for the date of manufacturing.model 94serial#4421549

Winchester Manufacturers There are many legends about why the historic serial number records for Winchester rifles and shotguns are not complete or why they are not always verifiable. A few reasons cited are
A fire at the factory
Inadvertent destruction during office cleaning
Records simply lost in filing
Records misplaced between ownership transitions
Documents borrowed but not returned
The seven digit numbers began in 1927, most of model 94 serial 44 series began in the 1970 era. The Cody Firearms Museum has more information on Winchesters produced before 1900.There are other outside resources including the Cody Firearm Museum which can be excellent for determining date.
When you take apart your rifle you might find more numbers in the wood stock that supports the barrel. Good luck

Model 94 winchester values

Post '64 winchesters command a lower price than those made previously. Perfect condition would bring ~ $300 or so. Checkering on the stock would increase the price slightly. You have the most common version of the '94 Winchester made.

Can't remove stock from Rossi single shot

Remove the butt plate (should be 2 screws), shine a light down the stock bolt hole to determine if you need a socket and extension or a long screwdriver. Use the appropriate tool to remove the stock bolt. Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

What is the torque specs for a Winchester Model 70 xtr triger guard asmbly .338 Winchester Mag?

For HVB or custom pillar bedded stock, HS Precision recommends 65 in lbs. Other 3rd party stocks are 50 in lbs and Winchester recommends 35 in lbs in the post 64 manual.

And the #Gxxxxxxx rifles have unknown manufacturing dates. They were made by a company that never said what the year ranges were on the numbers.

Removing bolt from a winchester model 67

Pull stock off your model 67 win. The trigger stays in the stock . Lift up on the barrel and action while pulling it toward the end of the stock. To separate them. Next open the bolt , then reach under the action grasp the arched piece of spring steel . Pull down gently on the spring steel retainer while pulling back on the bolt. You can also remove the ejector assembly in the same manner pulling down on it. Assemble in reverse order.
