I just moved to France and brought my Juki TL-2010Q from the USA. I plugged it in with a European adaptor and it blew the fuse? Is it fixable? Where do I get a replacement fuse? Thank you! Suzanne

Did you mean an 'adaptor' (as in two-pin to 3-pin) or a transformer ?
It is a DIFFERENT electrical system in Europe to the USA.
The USA is 110v and Europe is 240 or 220v. The machine is
probably burned out. You would need to take it to a dealer to be checked. You can ONLY use USA electrical equipment with a TRANSFORMER, so that it can function on the different European electrical system. Good luck !

Change 220v to 110v

You will need a transformer. If the appliance is 220V to start with, you need a step-up tranformer, that is, 110V supply UP to 220V output. The other way round, a step-down transformer.

They are sold at hardware outlets and electronics suppliers like RadioShack.

I accidentally plugged in my 110v portable sewing machine to a 220v outlet and it sparked

You have damaged your machine. Place it into the bin and go buy new.... or maybe if you are lucky you can find someone who can fix it.

110vsinger portable sewing machine was plugged in 220v

Think about it. You burned it out by doing that. Happens quite a bit here in RV (caravan parks) which are supposed to be wired 110v 30 amps but get wired at 220v by a stupid electrician. It's hosed, dump it in the bin... or maybe sell some of the parts from it. and go buy a new machine.

My name Devi from Jakarta , Indonesia, I was buying sewing machine Brother CP 7500 from amazon, i just want to make sure, in indonesia voltage is 220V, how about CP 7500 ? is the voltage 110V or 220V ?...

Amazon is in USA so item would probably be 110 V and not suitable for you. You need to buy a machine locally or from Australia with same voltage as you, 220V. If you try to use a 110V machine you will fry the engine and electricals.

You should be able to buy the same model, just buy it in your voltage.

How to change tension from 120V to 220V

If you are sending a sewing machine which runs on 120volts to a region that has a 240volt power supply you will need to get a
power step down converter that will fit into the socket of the 220volt supply ,and will have a socket that will hold the plug of the 120volt supply going to your machine.
the converter must reduce the 240v down to 110v .
