Favorit 43070 vi leak

I have a 4 year old AEG Favorit Dishwasher which reports an anti-flood fault. I have removed the unit from its build-in location and tilted the unit forward to drain the sump. This did overcome the problem initially, however the problem has returned. I have remove the left side panel to reveal a transparent filter container, on further inspection I have noted that when the dish washer fills with water in a wash cycle, water leaks from behind the panel. This would appear to be the cause of the problem.
My question is 1) what is this the name of this filter 2) Can it be replaced 3) Can I fix it myself?

I assume that this leak is from the flat tank on the side of the machiene. Any water leak to the bottom of the machiene puts the washer in ANTI FLOOD mode with the pump out motor activated. You can remove the flat tank by disconnecting the hoses to it and pulling it upwards. If you find a small leak just run it over with a hot soldering iron to melt closed the small leak. Also note that this tank has a small outlet pipe that deliberatly discharges water to the anti flood device (polystireen float / micro switch at the base of washer) in case of a fault (blocked pipe / leak etc).

My AEG Favorit Dishwasher is leaking water from underneath the door. It is only 3-4 years old and seals look good. Seems to be leaking out between the fascia door and the dishwasher door at the bottom

Look at the screen on the drain.if its clear then check your drain for leaks
As it could be building pressure on the system..by not draining proper.

I assume you are refering to the earth leakage circuit breaker. This trips when a earth leak fault has occured. The normal cause for this could be
A) Water leaking via a pipe at the bottom comming in contact with one of the electric motors at the base of the washer.
B) A heating element has gone faulty with a electrical leak to earth.
You need to test this with a multimeter on the OHMS scale and rectify any short to earth that the meter would indicate.

No water fill

This is a typical Anti Flood system activation. This system activates when water leaks onto the floor of the machiene due to a leak fault (pipe/hose clamp/ partly blocked pipe). The machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and stops water inlet. The anti flood system is a polystireen float / micro switch at the base of the machiene floor. Dry the floor and drectify the leak and it should work.

Anti flood system triggered Favorit 40660 dishwasher

The problem was solved by opening the machine and finding that the bottom "Y" pipe that has 3 inputs is of extremely poor quality and perforates with pin holes allowing a small amount of water to squirt out. This triggers the anti flood and error status lights flash. The outlet pump is activated and machine does not do anything. You need to replace this hose or like I modified it to work from a 32mm Y plastic junction available from most hardware shops. The wire clamps for this was replaced by "jubilee" screw tight clamps.
I worked on a table and also removed the "Brick" placed at the bottom for balance purposes by cutting the back plastic down with a saw. This made the job very easy...

This is typical of the anti-flood circuit that opperates once it detects water on the base of the machiene and is a polystireen float that activates a micro switch. This puts the machiene in pump out mode only. You need to determine if the water at the base of machiene is caused by a small leak or is it a customer spillage. Clearing the water (tip to side) or dry with paper towel and inspect for leaks. Rectify the leak and this should solve the problem.

You can unclick the top part which gives better access to the lower part with the blockage. Hot water, pipe-cleaners, cable ties, bits of wire can all be employed to get the grease out.

Recurring .30 fault on AEG dishwasher. Have tried pulling out machine and tilting back 45 degrees but fault clears and then comes back on next wash. Is there anything else I can do?

This is caused by the Anti-Flood device at the base of the machiene being activated. This device detects water leaks and is a polystireene float / micro switch that puts the machiene in pump out mode only. You need to determine where the leak comes from (pipe or perforated hose pin hole or pipe clamp etc.) If you tilt the washer and some water comes out from the bottom it is a clear indication that there is a small leak.

Drain pump keeps running AEG oko favorit

This seems like the anti flood system (polystireen float / micro switch) at the base of the washer is triggered,\. This puts the washer in pump out mode and stops inlet of water via the inlet solinoid. Dry the water on the base and then check for any water leaks. (pipe leak
