Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
My laptop screen had been showing me weird lines and was slightly lighter in color on the right side of my screen. This would go away if I twisted the screen and adjusted it slightly.
Now, my laptop screen is white but am using an external monitor.
It looks like a fog over my screen.
So do I need to buy a new screen?? Any help is appreciated.
Yup. Bad lcd. If under warranty, have the manufacturer replace it. If not under warranty, visit ebay for the least expensive lcd's. Won't find them cheaper anywhere else. Just buy from a seller with a decent rating. Some are offering 100-120 day warranties on new lcd's. You can also find used ones there, as is.
