Greetings,
Simple hookup would be connecting analog output from DVD/VCR player to your TV. To do this, use the Audio-Video cable which has 3 terminals at both the ends and each terminal has RED,YELLOW and WHITE pin. Your DVD/VCR player would have analog output socket where you would connect one end of these 3 pins, make sure yellow would go in "VIDEO Out, WHITE would go in "LEFT Audio Out" and RED would go in "RIGHT Audio Out", you can easily identify them cause these sockes would also have the colors on them. Now connect other end of the cables to TV, this would be input to your tv. On the back left hand side of the TV, you would see 3 sockes with YELOW, WHITE and RED colors. These are located between "Coaxial" and "S Video" labels. Connect yellow pin to yellow socket which is "Video In", connect RED pin to RED socket and White to white. Switch on the TV, play any dvd on your player. On your TV remote, press INPUT button which is located on the right hand side top corner on remote, press it and if you get the dvd player video and audio, you should repeat the button press to see the video, this button selectes one by one signals given to TV, so your dvd player input might be on the 2nd,3rd or 4th press, so go through till you get the video signals. Hope this helps !!!

I have a Toshiba dvd/vcr player model DVR3SU that gets an "error reading disc" message frequently, I would like to locate and adjust the potentiometer if that can be done. I have no electronics experience, but I have been able to take the unit apart to the point that most of the disc area is accessible. thanx

My problem is this: recently, Comcast has been converting all its customers to a digital signal and installing these DTAs (Digital Transport Adapters) on all its customers' older TV (including mine). But the issue I have is with recording programing on my non-digital Panasonic DVD recorder. Since I installed the DTA, I've discovered that the only way I can record a program on a specific cable channel is to move that channel to Channel 3 or 4, before I leave my home. This means this is the only channel I can record (during my time away) is on that one channel.
How can I record multiple shows on different cable channels using my DVD recorder? Comcast says I need a spliter, but will this device allow me to program my DVD to record multiple shows on different cable channels? I'm confused. Thanks for any help you can provide.
