Question about Canon I990 InkJet Photo Printer
Used the instructions provided by "fastrepairguide," posted Aug 05, 2007, and was able to get my printer up and running again. The side effect is that the ink status monitor doesn't seem to be working anymore --- when I go to print, the monitor opens but the ink levels are all the same, not showing what's low, etc. I'm wondering if it will still notify me when I'm out of ink, did this get turned off in the process?
You need to manually tell the printer it has new ink levels, because when you change errors and settings, sometimes it will not automatically reset ink levels. cheers lilacgerry
