Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

You have 3 options to do an ESN swap, 1. Call 1.800.CRICKET and tell the representative that you need Swap devices. (possible fee)
2. Go to your nearest Cricket store and tell them to do it. (possible fee)
3. Go to mycricket.com and login in to your account and you have and option to change MEID or ESN once it ask you for the MEID number you input the 18 digit number that usually start with 268.

Where can I find the software for the UTStarcom7126c in order to charge my phone using the computer?

JUST F.Y.I....BEFORE YOU or ANYONE ELSE.... PAY TO UNLOCK THERE PHONE....DID YOU KNOW OR TRY THIS !

Ok i just had the same thing wrong with my phone.....locked out reading on here...i 1st tried 0000,did not work ....them next i tried1234,did not work...the phone i have is the-
UTStarcom7126c it was only used on one cricket phone/account before i got it... my brother bought new.....so i was told,if it wasn't the 0000 or 1234 it would be the last 4 digits of the phone number if it hadn't been changed from factory default...and had said,he had never changed the lock code on it the whole time he used it....that had to be it!...easy enough...i typed in his last 4 digits.....nope,nothing! incorrect code!!
He has had the same cricket number the whole time he used it...same number he has had,since2006... long before he upgraded to this one(the UTStarcom7126c)early last year.....when he upgraded to his new phone a few months ago... his number stayed the same.....he wasn't using it any more....so when my mine took a swim,i got it from him.....and i called cricket and transferred my number to it( few weeks back)....i tried to master clear it,to empty his phone book, before i started adding my numbers to it....it asked me for the code, i didn't have it, so...i just used it as is....But! i knew it had one....
Well earlier today.... i some how locked it! and none of the four solution's or lock codes i could find on here was workin for me....the only other thing i could find on here was ,short of dealin with cricket......was the post about using the software to unlock it......but for a fee, while online unlocking it through the internet......so i was lookin for the link and about to just pay to fix it! that is when i found the the key, missing link.....the part i was missing! or more like, had just been overlooking...
The key missing information.....
out of all the posts on here that all said the same thing.......finally! i found a post that explained it a little better, than,,,,its either 0000,1234,the last 4 digits or its PAY!
Well, was in the post (that i copied&added below ) i found out all the other were all right! except for the missing part....about the last 4 digits that will unlock it........changing to whatever the last for digits are of the new phone number is,whether was used phone on a different cricket account or even the same account & phone....if the # changes on a phone through the your service provider.....for what ever reason....the default last 4 digit lock code follows it,and changes to the last 4 of the new phone #
*************************************************************************************************************
i had this happen also and i had my number changed then my cuzin locked my but my code changed to my new # try the last 4 numbers of the new number and try the hole number with out the area code..

I've figured out a solution so hopefully someone else with the same problem wont have to go thru my pain. I tried everything and tried the codes from the SphA900.

##000000# and it will give you an option to edit or view. hit enter and change the MSID number to your phone number. I did that and It enabled the flashed Samsung A740 onto the cricket system. I can make and rec calls now. when you go to settings and phone info the number should show up
