No sound on left front speaker

you need to set up the individual volume levels for each speaker.
do a sound test tone which will check for a signal from each speaker.
if you hear the speakers at different volumes you know you need to adjust the ones that are too weak. hope this helps

Can't program comcast remote to yamaha yas-101

The only thing i was able to do was to use this link and make the remote learn the functions by following the instructions on the Yamaha web site for the sound bar to AUX. YAS 101
http://faq.yamaha.com/us/en/article/audio-visual/digital-sound-projector/yas-101/7598/6609/

I then used the instructions below to volume lock the aux so that i did not have to switch back and forth from cable to aux to adjust volume and change channels
Setting Global Volume Lock
Global Volume Lock will force the volume and mute keys to be controlled by one device.
  1. Press and hold the "Setup" key until a device key blinks twice.
  2. Type in the code 993. A device key should blink twice.
  3. Press and release the device key for the device you want the volume locked to.
  4. You will get two blinks if the lock is successful.

MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 motherboard audio VERY quiet.. I can't tune the volume very loud at all. The board is brand new. I can hear the audio from the external speakers when volumes are set to highest levels...

Check to make sure the following:
  • You have the speakers plugged into the 'green'-colored sound connectors at the back of the mobo.
  • Also make sure that your 'Windows Sounds' aren't set low. Sometimes I set my Sound Properties (accessible when you double-click the speaker icon in the taskbar) to 'lose' that setting, to keep things simple. But if your overall volume is at 100%, and this setting is at around 20% or below, you could experience this issue.
  • If these are not powered speakers, you know what I'm saying here...
I'll check back in later to see if this helped you. Mike

The volume of gas sample is 100ml when the temperature, is 27 degrees c what will be the volume of the gas at 37degrees c if the barometer reading remains the same?

To solve this problem you can use the physical law of ***-Lussac, a special case of the Ideal Gas Law for isobaric processes. For an ideal gas, the quotient V / T is a constant, if the gas pressure is constant. V = volume of the gas, T = temperature of the gas in degrees Kelvin.
  • 27°C = ( 273.15 + 27 ) °K = 300.15 °K
  • 37°C = ( 273.15 + 37 ) °K = 310.15 °K
According to the law of ***-Lussac, V1 / T1 = V2 / T2 = const., we get an equation (V1 = 100ml, T1 = 300.15 °K, V2 is the unknown volume, T2 = 310.15 °K):
  • 100 ml / 300.15 °K = V2 / 310.15 °K
  • => V2 = 100 ml × 310.15 °K / 300.15 °K = 103.33 ml

One cube has a face equivalent to the total area of another cube. find the ratio of their volumes?

Let the sides of the cubes be a and b,

the length of the diagonal of the cube whose side is b is given as square root(3)*b

according to the given question,

a=square root(3)*b

the volume of the cube with side a is given as

v1=a^3=(square root(3)*b)^3

and the volume of the cube with side b is

v2=b^3

then their ratio of volumes is given as

v1/v2=3*square root(3)*b^3/b^3=3*square root(3)

i.e v1:v2=3*square root(3):1
