My Remington 1187 super mag will not eject shells once it has been shot have to play with it to manually eject them

Are you using light loads? Is the gun dirty? Too light a target load may be the issue. Also if you've shot many rounds through it, theweapon may need to be disassembled and cleaned to include the gas ports.

My 94 which i recently purchased used is a 45 long colt.recently shot it and it does noy eject the fired cartridge and will not eject an unfired one either.what is the problem?thanks

Hi royfincher...

Your ejector clip/arm/rod is faulty.
It may be worn to the point that it cannot eject the cartridge because of wear.
But most likley it is due to a cause below..

It may be due to trash/debris/unburnt powder around the ejector clip.
The clip should move a small amount to slip behind the cartridge case head to pull it from the chamber after it is fired.
Take the bolt apart and clean and oil the ejector clip and assy. with a good grade of gun oil.
Also check the chamber, they may be some dirt/debris/unburnt powder, etc in the slot that the ejector clip fits into also causing your problem...if so clean it out with a metal pick, being careful not to damage anything inside the chamber.
After you have done the above, Your problem should be solved.

I have response trigger on my a5 and only shots one shot at a time when pointing straight. When i raise the gun to the air and shot it response trigger works. What could be the problem?

If you are using CO2 it may be affecting the system. With a gun down straight, you could draw liquid CO2 into the internals. A siphon tube can be installed in a CO2 tank to stop or manage this. If you have access to someone's air tank, try using HPA (high pressure air aka nitrogen). If it fires fine with air you have deducted that the CO2 is to blame. Simple. Switch to air. It's better for the gun anyway! Now if the air didnt change anything I would think a component of the response trigger system is to blame. I am not familiar with the response trigger( I use E-grips) but I would think that a part that may slide or move forward or bak when you lift the gun up would be to blame. Most local shops should be able to diagnose the problem. I did find an installation video by Tippmann on youtube.
Here is a link.

I have a ithaca model 49 lever action single shot and it wont eject shells after firing it but it will eject it if i dont fire it,in other words it will eject a live round but not a spent one

there is a lever under the barrel and it is probably worn beyond function or broken off all you need to do is disassemble the gun and replace it. ( get yourself some good brass punches)

If you are talking about a firearm 95% of the time this is caused by it being dirty and carboned up in the chamber and bolt face/ejector area. Give it a real good cleaning and you should get it working again. Also if it's a shotgun you may have to clean the gas tube/piston that is under the barrel. hope this helps you
