Make sure that your video settings are correct for the resolution you want, including the number of bits. For high resolution set it to 32 bits. If the settings are ok....

1. Hook up an external monitor to the video connector.
2. If the colors are ok on the external monitor, you may have a bad LCD, or a bad motherboard.

Screen is the color blue?

That isn't convergence that does that. There are "screen" trimmers, if someone has messed them up you can get all one color, but the usual cause is the picture tube going bad. The screen trimmers are on the PC board on the gun (narrow) end of the CRT. Some trimmers are color drive and others are color black level, or "screen". Don't adjust the color drives, it is a delicate balancing act to get them right. Find the one labelled blue and turn it down. If all you can get is too dark, turn the red and green up, just enough to see a dim color haze in a blank picture. Balance them out so the haze is gray. Then turn them all down just a hair so the screen is just black. Then try a picture. If you can't get gray on a blank screen then go to the high voltage transformer (the one that can kill you if you touch the wrong part) and adjust the "screen" control on its side up (it adjusts all the colors together). If you still can't get gray, one or more of the color guns is weak, and you may as well chuck it.
Of course it could also be a bad blue drive transistor, but fixing that takes more expertise than you can get from a forum.
Actually, just getting the TV open and propped up so it doesn't fall over is a job in itself...

Screen is showing all black things red

It sounds like your screen might be going bad. Normally there is no setting you need to be doing to adjust colors on your screen. There are some settings when you click Start/Control Panel/Display to look at your display settings, but these normally just control the color around the windows. For example the normal or default color for the strip that is at the top of your internet browser is blue but you can change it. I would say that when you boot your machine if the colors are not what they should be normally during the boot process, then your screen is going bad. You might try Opening a Word Document then type words such as Black, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, etc. on different lines in the document. Then highlight the word and change the font color to match the word. This might let you see if your colors are true colors or if the screen is bad.

The tv screen color is red no matter the color adjustment

hello, Confirm that the source is not a weird color video - try another channel or a tape. Verify that this is not a missing color problem - one of the primary R, G, or B, has disappeared. If so, refer to the section: Intermittent or missing colors. Once these have been eliminated, you are left with the following possibilities: Defective part around the chroma chip/circuit. Misadjusted color oscillator. Bad connections or short circuit in area of chroma chip/circuit. Defective chroma chip (don't suspect this first just because it is probably very expensive). Bad degauss circuit resulting in lack of degauss or abrupt termination of degauss current rather than smooth tail off. The CRT is not being properly demagnetized and color purity is totally messed up. Bad CRT - the shadow mask has been damaged and it is impossible to properly adjust purity across the screen. NOTE- This will require a skilled personnel to handle this

My E771 monitor colors suddenly shifted with

Possibilities:
1. video-card gone bad;
2. video-cable gone bad;
3. video-cable not tightly-connected to CRT;
4. video-cable not tightly-connected to video-card;
5. "red" gun inside CRT gone bad.

Disconnect the video-cable from the computer, and try again to adjust the "red". If red-free, then it's time to responsibly recycle the CRT.

Reconnect & wiggle the video-cable, to see if that induces any "red" onto the CRT.

Connect the CRT to the VGA-output port on a notebook computer, to see if that video-card generates "red" as one of the primary colours.

Give the CRT a strong "whack" on the side, to see if "red" makes an appearance.
