Question about Cell Phones
Yesterday morning when i woke up, i tired to power it on. I did so, and i noticed it was taking an unusually long time to power on, and staying on the android screen. So i turned it on and off many times taht day trying to make it work and i also did a hard reset. i factory reset and also tried rebooting but when i rebooted, it did the same thing and did not come up just stayed on that screen. I have no idea what else to do.

I know you think that T-Mobile customer care may be stupid, but there is a process when you call and they will get you to a Sidekick specific department that uses a troubleshooting flow to determine if the problem is fixable or if your phone just simply needs to be replaced. Your phone has a 1 year warranty from the day you bought it and just in case it is extremely helpful to have the insurance added. It is not fun having to shell out another $350.00 to replace something that you just bought if the warranty does not cover whatever the problem may be. The deductible for a Sidekick is only $130.00 to replace.

the phone has multiple problems already, it has a software issue, you need to have the phone evaluated by a technician.

Re-install the firmware (http://androidforums.com/htc-hero-sprint/45596-how-reinstall-os.html) if that fails, there may be a hardware issue. If HTC doesn't help you, here's a guide on how to disassemble an HTC Evo. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you. If you want to pay to have a service do it for you there are third party HTC Repair Services.
