Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

It would rust the metal and solder points in the camera and probably dilute the grease in the gears.

There are no drivers for digital camera - Windows[98se/mill/2000/XP etc] does it all.
Remove any software you may have loaded from the supplied disk.
Simply plug the camera into the computer, ensuring it is switched on.and set to the upload mode.
Windows takes it from there

Make sure DigiKam, usbmount, and usbview are installed.  Set the camera usb mode settings to PC (PTP).  Plug the usb to camera cable into the back of the PC.  Now with the camera off plug in the cable into the camera. Turn on the camera and the Linux PC should pick up the camera as a usb memory device. Know you can transfer the photos to your PC.

SOURCE: GE a735 digital camera flash not working

Make sure your flash has not been turned off, check your settings. You may try changing your flash settings, most cameras have a setting for fill flash (flashes every time). If it still is not working make sure your batteries are fresh. If you have tried these two things, I would say its broken. If its still under warranty take it back, if not just use it and forget the flash. Flash is useless past 12 feet in most point and shoot cameras.

I don't have the usb cord that came with the camera, cannot find driver on line and after market cable not recognized, how can I upload to lap top Windows 10?

Contact Fuji customer services for help, advice and possibly the drivers and/or cable that you need. The camera is, however, eleven years old, so they may not have what you require anymore. It takes an xD media card, but you may be able to get a USB card reader that can accommodate that.

To be able to transfer the video from the camera onto the computer you will need a firewire cable that connects into the camera and your computer as well as software that can import it. The biggest challenge is going to be getting the camera connected over firewire. Firewire is the only cable that is fast enough to handle the strain of the video, but unfortunately most computers running windows do not support firewire. You will have to get a firewire card for the computer or if it is a laptop you are just out of luck.
Hope that helps!

Take the memory card out and use a USB card reader to access your photos/videos. It's simpler and faster than connecting the camera itself.

Older versions of Kojak's EasyShare software do not support the Windows 7 operating system, but Kodak's new version 8 does. You probably just need to download/install the new software at

A730 camera

easiest way to download from the camera is to just take out the SD card and plug it into your SD card slot on your computer if your computer has the slots else buy a card reader to plug into your comp (they are really cheap these day just a couple of pounds) this is the way most people do it these days because even if you get a trouble free cable connection between camera and computer then install the required software etc etc it is too long winded for a very simple task
