Can I buy a chamber seal for my 1008 cosman repearair 430 fps?

You can get a new seal for the 1008 but you may have to purchase the entire rebuild kit which wI'll include five o-rings and seals. But there is no sense in tearing down the gun to only replace one seal.

Have you tried to put a drop of oil on the tip of the co2 cartridge yet?

If you havent then I'd suggest that, but instead of airgun oil, try a bit of transmission fluid. Get the stuff that is "stop leaks". It will make the rubber swell up, and may very well fix you guns issue.

Here are a couple of exploded views for you the understand what you're getting into.

If youre not mechanically inclined, you might consider having an airgunsmith take a look. Be sure to get a price for his service before hand, as you may end up paying him more than the airgun cost originally.

I would explain to him that you would like the gun to be "tuned", should you need to go that far. The seal fix will effected by the tune up, and you would be surprised at how much better the gun will function.

Good luck with that.

Gun was working fine, now will not fire even with new co2 cartridge, any suggestions

It is possible the 'new' CO2 cartridge is defective.

If the gun was working fine BEFORE you installed the new CO2 cartridge, try a different cartridge.

Maybe the seal wasn't pearced on the new cartridge. Also, a blockage would also prevent the gun from firing. Check the gas pathways for a blockage.

Air leaks out when installing co2

The Phantom Break-Barrel does not use CO2. It is a spring-loaded break-barrel weapon. If you really do have a CO2 gun, check the rubber seal around the outside of the cartridge puncture needle.

How do you put in a new Co2 cartridge model 1700 bb gun

You should be able to remove the left side grip, unscrew the bolt on the bottom of the grip, insert co2, and then tighten bolt to puncture cartridge. Hope this helps

After inserting and compressing the CO2 cartridge, the CO2 leaks

You need to check the rubber o-ring seals both in the plug and there could be another up in the gun where the cartridge end meets the inside. If you have a broken o-ring you should be able to find one that fits at your local hardware store or store that sells air rifles. Hope this helps.
