SOURCE: Connecting the X-box 360

It depends on the connection you want to use. There are 3 possibilities, in ascending order: Regular RCA cable that goes into the CVBS; an S-VIDEO cable; a component cable (goes into the RGB). If you want to enjoy HDTV games, you should go for the third option. In smaller TVs (like yours) the difference in quality is less noticeable.

SOURCE: wii console isnt working

Have you tired resetting the AC adapter? If not, then try this:

  1. Unplug/remove all accessories from the system (including game discs, SD Cards, memory cards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, hookup cables, the AC Adapter, and Sensor Bar) from the outlet and Wii.
  2. Let the system rest for about 90 seconds. While you're waiting, check to see that controller cords, AC Adapter, and Stereo AV cables/Component Video cables are not frayed or have exposed wires (this can cause the system to shut off); if so, you should replace those parts.
  3. After the 90 seconds, Plug the AC Adapter into the system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. Check to see if the power light on the Power button comes on.

How do I connect my PS2 to my Alba flatscreen TV? I plugged it in and everything but I go through all the channels and AVs (HDMI, HDMI2, Ex-1 ect) but I can't seem to find the channel that the PS2 has...

select the channel that corresponds with the way you connected it if it is component video check those inputs otherwise it could be an hdmi input. if you have it hooked up and you know for sure you have checked the input that corresponds than you most likely have a bad cable try a different cable to hook it up

The picture is blue when I play a dvd. I recently connected it to a new Vizio TV. The other tv it was connected to gave us a good picture.

Check your connections for faults, also some connections on TV's are for RGB inputs, so you might have to try another connector or if you can switch the DVD's output to RGB etc.

I need to know what channel to operate my wii on. I have a toshiba tv that is about 8 years old.

Try changing the TV inputs to VIDEO or AUX, using the remote or a button on your TV. If there is not a way to connect the Wii to the TV using the 3-cable system (Yellow, Red and White), then you might have to use a VCR or DVD player to plug the 3 cables into and then transmit the audio and video from the Wii using the regular cable line of VCR or DVD Player on TV channels 3 or 4. If your Wii has a regular TV Cable jack on the back, connect that to the jack on the back of you TV and select channel 3 or 4.

Just got logik ldvr 1608 dvd but it cant find any

You need an aerial to tune the freeview.
However, to record from satelite you can connect a scart lead from the satelite vcr out to the dvd in and it will record vie the av "channel" on the dvd.
Depending on your location, regarding signal strength, you can purchase an indoor, boosted aerial to tune the freeview.
Also, if the scart connection on the dvd is a 2 way connection( allowing a signal to the tv as well as from the tv) you can connect the tv to the satelite and the dvd to the satelite only and the dvd will play through the satelite even when the satelite is off.

No colour when digital set top box attached

Ensure the set top box is set to the correct video out. Probably RGB if scart lead or CVBS if coax lead.

Press the DVD button on the Philips remote. Make sure the yellow part of the RCA cable is plugged into Output/CVBS/Out on the back of the Philips, and that it is plugged into a yellow input of your TV. Change your TV channel to Av1, av2, video 1, video 2, aux, aux 2, or whatever the correct video channel is on your TV. Then press setup - you will get your picture.
In order for the coax connection to work on Ch. 3 of your TV, you will have to get an additional piece of equipment - an RF modulator. It's better just to stick with the RCA red, yellow, white cables.
