What is the best way to wire two kicker comp r 12' s to a two channel amp for max bass?

First, you need to know whether you have the 2 ohm DVC subs or 4 ohm DVC subs. Second, you need to know the minimum impedance the amp can handle (most are 2 ohm, some are less). Putting two voice coils in parallel will cut the total impedance in half (e.g. 2x 4 ohm voice coils in parallel = 2 ohms total). Putting subs in parallel will also cut the impedance in half.
At one end of the spectrum, you could put the 2 ohms DVCs in parallel, then parallel the two subs, and bridge the 2 channels of the amp. That would put 0.5 ohms impedance on the 1 bridge amp channel. If the amp can do 0.5 ohms x 1ch, do it. Otherwise, you may have to run the subs on separate channels.

I have an old school autotec xs 1500.1 and need to know how to hook up the outs to make it 1 ohm

Since it is a mono block amp, it depends on your subwoofer (s), and how you wire them to the amp.

Single 4 ohm sub would be just that, 4 ohms.
Single dvc 4 ohm sub, with both voice coils wired parallel would be 2 ohms.

2 dvc 4 ohm subs wired parallel would be a 1 ohm load.

Can someone please show me how to wire my subs to amp.. i have a 2600 watt planet audio 2 channel amp (2 ohm stable) and my subs are soundstream tarantulas t4 12s 900/1800 watts total. they are 1 ohm subs...

for your subs and amp the best way would be for the speakers to be wired in series1ch (mono or bridged)to have a 4 ohm load to your amp stable at 2 ohms
see pic for wiring diagram for 2 1 ohm dvc subs wired in series.
you will need more than one speaker wire for wiring the subwoofers coils(positive & negative terminals) together
hope this helps :~)

I have a rockford fosgate 1001d and 2 audiopipe dvc 12s need 2 know how wire speakers

Check to determine if your sub woofers are DVC 4OHM or DVC 2OHM SOLUTION 1 If your sub woofers are DVC 4OHM then, from the positive (+) of the amplifier run your cable to the positive terminal of voice coil 1 on sub woofer 1 then continue to connect all the positive voice coils together on both sub woofers. Do the same for the negative from amplifier to all the negative voice coils of both the sub woofers. RECAP: all positives together on the positives and all the negatives together on the negatives. This will give you a 1 OHM load to the amplifier making it deliver all its power but will also run hot. So if you are living in a hot climate take care. SOLUTION 2: Connect the negative on voice coil 1 to the positive of voice coil 2 on sub woofer 1 Do the same for subwoofer 2 now you should have a free negative and a free positive on each of the sub woofers. connect the free positives together and follow through to the positive on the amplifier. do the same for the free negatives sending them to the amplifiers negative. This will give you a 4 OHM load to the amplifier. Not full power in this mode but the most stable working condition for your amplifier. SOLUTION 3 If your sub woofers are DVC 2 OHM then you only have one reasonable wiring solution. Connect like solution 2. This time because of the DVC 2 OHM sub woofers you would have a 2 OHM load to the amplifier. This is also a stable load for the amplifier and does not generate to much heat and still deliver over 50% to 70% of the amplifiers power. good luck and drop me a line if you still have doubts. dreamsystems

2 12" dvc subs 2 ohm stable amp

+ on amp output to + on speaker #1 to + on speaker #2. - on amp output to - on speaker #1 to - on speaker #2. This is a parallel circuit....4 ohms in parallel with 4 ohms = 2 ohms. IF it were wired in series....would represent 8 ohm load.

How do i bridge 2-4ohm dvc's to a mono block

If you have a DVC 4ohm speaker, and you are using both voice coils, the amp is seeing a 2ohm load.
If you bridge the amp, you CAN run both subs as long as the amp is Two Ohms Stable.
Wire each subs voice coils in parallel.(Positive to positve, neg to neg.) (2ohms) each.
Then wire the two subs in series.(Neg from amp to neg of sub one, pos of sub one to neg of sub two. then pos of sub two to pos of amp.

If it sounds too hard, leave it as you are already running the amp at two ohms.

How do you make two dvc subs run at one ohm and put them to a 2 ohm mono block

Make sure your amp is one ohm stable. If you wire the subs at one ohm and the amp is not a one ohm stable you run the risk of blowing the amp if not both the amp and the subs

huge shared common space slot loaded box (size depends on sub 10", 12" 15" you need to clarify that please) the amp specs on earthquakes site say the phd5000 is rated at a max output of 5k watts at 1 ohm 3k watts at 2 ohm so, with 3 dvc 2 ohm subs you only have 3 options of which only 2 will be a usable solution:

1. 3- 2ohm dvc series at sub parralel at amp = about 1.33 ohms at the amplifier this is the best option to get the most power to the subs as each sub will produce a 4 ohm load then wire each one to the amp the amp sees 3 4 ohm parralel loads which = 1.33 ohm so based on the amp specs you would be close to 1200 watts per sub.

2. 3- 2ohm dvc wired in series at sub and all 3 subs series wired together very difficult to wireand will give you a 12 ohm load which is next to no power at all (not a viable solution)

3. 2- 2ohm dvc parralel wired to each other and then at amp the amp sees a 1 ohm load and makes 5k watts max but you can only (REREAD THAT LINE! ONLY USE 2 SUBS IN THIS WAY) WHICH GIVES THE MOST POWER BUT ONLY USES 2 SUBS

2 ohm dvc and monoblock sub amp

Yes. When you run two-two ohm subs to a monoblock amp its on the same channel meaning there ran parallel, and that makes it one ohm and most mono-blocks won't read one ohm. Are you popping fuses in the amp?

Pioneer prsx720 wiring question

If the subs are dual 4 ohm voice coils, you could hook the DVC's of each sub in parallel ("+"'s together, "-"'s together) making each sub essentially 2 ohms. Then connect one sub to each channel of the amps. This will put about 200W on each sub.
