Question about Zanussi WJD1457W Front Load Washer / Dryer
When operating the dry cycle the dryer does not condense. At the end of the cycle there is steam when you open the door. The condenser has been cleaned out (lot of muck) but still no joy. The water is being supplied at the inlet OK.

I've got this machine, and all washer dryers tend to have two heating elements and it sounds to me that the heating element for the drying side of the machine's functions needs replacing. You could probably find a cheap element for the machine somewhere and get it fitted for a small sum.
Let me know if this rectifies your problem

I had the same problem. It actually has nothing to do with the filters. If your dryer sounds like it wants to start the capacitor is blown.
