These are 20W 120V bulbs with what's called the intermediate base. The new Panasonic part number is ANE6030540AP and you can get them at Tritronics at http://www.wehaveparts.com or Vance Baldwin at http://www.vancebaldwin.com You should also be able to get them at local appliance parts stores, Lowe's (or similar) or even a large grocery store. You can also use Sharp part # RLMPT0003YBE0 from either of the above sites.

An AC motor has 2 leads and does not have a polarity. Just conntct the two terminls and reassemble the unit. If nothing else is wrong, it will work fine again.

SOURCE: no power to microwave. I
Look for the surge protector being short which is in the front end after the fuse. If so disconnect and check for the shorrt to change. repeat the same for the power supply to show a release of the short.
If the transformer, main capacitor is shorrt removve and check or replace.
Since the short is in the primary end you can get this sorted out easily as a short in the magnetron might not be worth.
So use the continutiy meter to disable one by one these compenents to confirm.

Usually the fact that the wires have the same color does not mean that they are meant to go together. But in your situation since the other colors match then they are menat to go together. Although according to color coding the black is meant to be neutral while orange also stands for neutral.so both wires could go together. But in rare cases the wires coding could have been mixed up so best get an expert to examine it and test the cables to determine which is which to avoid unforeseen damage.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
