Had my alternator rebuilt, but batteries still go dead.checked alternator shows charging at 11.9 volts then jumps to 15 volts after 2 minutes. is this the alternator

The alternator should be showing at least 15 volts when running! Anything lower would indicate the alternator is at fault, since you say it is showing below 12 volts even for 2 minutes indicates a fault.

there still could be a fault with the battery not holding its charge or something draining the battery like a wire shorting or trunk light staying on that is making the battery go flat!

Alternator problem

Easy way to check with a voltmeter. Check battery voltage on the battery terminals with key off, engine off, and then check voltage with engine running.
Engine off, a good battery should have voltage between 12.6 volts and 12.9 volts. With engine running, battery voltage should be a minimum of 13.5 volts, somewhere between 13.5 and 14.5 volts. This would indicate the alternator is good and is charging the battery. If voltage is less than 13.5 volts, if it only shows same volts as when not running, the alternator is not working right. Take it off and have tested for free at a parts store. It could be a bad alternator or it could be that the wiring between alternator and battery has a problem. If alternator tests good, start looking into the connections between alternator and battery.
Does your battery or alternator light stay on when engine is running? This would indicate a charging system problem. Time for the voltmeter test.

Machine powers up,,,than the whole machines powers down

Let's see if we can get it into diagnostic mode and check for any fault codes. Make sure the dryer is in standby mode, plugged in with all the indicators off. Select any button except the PAUSE/CANCEL button. PRESS/HOLD 3 SECONDS > RELEASE FOR 3 SECONDS > PRESS/HOLD 3 SECONDS > RELEASE FOR 3 SECONDS > PRESS/HOLD 3 SECONDS. If test mode was entered successfully all indicators will illuminate for 5 seconds with 88 showing in the two digit display. If there are no saved or active fault codes all indicators will momentarily turn off then stay on with 88 in the display. If there are any fault codes, the most recent one will alternately show F- and "XX " where XX is the fault code. and all the cycle indicators will flash. If you can't enter the test mode try a different button. Lets start there.

Hello
You just try with one amoung the above four digit code to open your TVs lock. Swich off the set, and swich it again On during each code test. Ok

Proceedings

  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Wish you sucess.

Electrical power system service required.....ABS warning light, generator warning light, brake failure...car stalled and wont't restart

usually caused by failed generator. Fix the generator and other lights will also extinguish. The car should jump start, but will not stay running without a charged battery. Recommend removing the generator and take to parts store for testing. Would you like instructions for removing generator?
