how old is you combo drive?all dvd drives have limitation on using it.in specially in burning..if you reach the number of burning the bulb or the lead will be dead..you need to buy a new one..
try to run the Microsoft Fix it option to delete the upper and lower filters and if this does not work, update the firmware and try to use a lens cleaner. if nothing works including system restore, it might be time to get a new drive. hope this helps

goto samsung website you should be able to find the driver you need and dwn load it. If you don't have internet access right there you can download it from another computer with web access onto a flash drive and put it on your computer.
dvd combo drive means that CD's can be Read & Write whereas DVD's are only read , they cant be written with Combo Drive. So if u want to Write DVD then Purchase a DVD writer.
This is becaz of the lens which is used to read the data frm the Disc. The weak (not damaged) lens may read CD but no DVD.
Try changing the lens........
Please do the followings steps:
First check other dvd are able to read by your dvd drive if yes the your dvd drive is not compatible with the mentioned DVD+R M33-8067 disc
Second if your drive is not able to read other dvd discs then try to clean it by good quality lens cleaner available in the market
If still problem persist then you have to change your DVD drive .
