SOURCE: Washer skips the spin cycle
Does it drain any at all? Do not think its the sensor - this would give a fault - could be the timer or motor control. If its the timer - maybe just a bad contact or bad relay on motor board

SOURCE: Machine won't run the spin cycle
It is most likely a defective speed control or a defective timer. Pull out the timer and clean all metal connections first and if it doesn't work then that is the cheapest part to replace first and see if it is causing the problem. Loose connections or bad wiring might be a possibility as well.
