first of all check the tint setting on your TV picture menu. if not get the correct color then, your telivision is a dlp TV that means it have a color wheel in side. if the synchronization of color wheel is not correct this problem can occur. there is a sensor for counting the rpm of color wheel. also have a black mark on the color wheels rotating portion. the sensor scene this black mark for making count. if there is any dust in that portion it will make difficult to the sensor making the counts. you have to remove the color wheel to clean the same.
In some cases, after installing a new color wheel, the speed of the wheel motor must be adjusted to obtain proper speed to ensure a satisfactory image. Unfortunately, you can not and should not attempt to do this adjustment yourself as the service menu contains many adjustments which if accidentily mis-adjusted may cause irrepairable harm to your TV. Ask a local samsung servicer to do an "index delay" adjustment in the service menu.
Hello Brandon B,
look on the side of the unit there will be a sticker with Model number, serial number and Version code. The version code will tell me what color wheel you need. There maybe some CCA adjustment you need to do using the remote in Service mode. Let me know what the version number. We will go from there. You can contact www.interactiverepair.com they will walk you through the installation process
They make two different color wheels for the Rca DLP are you positive you got the right one. As usually its a straight forward install no adjusting needed. Post the chassis number off the back of your set and I will try to help you out with it.
