Question about Toshiba 1360 Black and White Copier

1 Answer

Error c7 My Toshiba 1360 shows the C7 error code. After removing the fusing unit from the copier, I have checked the fusing unit thermistor and it gives 750Kohms at room temp, which decreases when heating up the thermistor. Could someone tell me what is its real resistance at room temperature (at 25°C} approximately? And where could I get a circuit diagram for the PCB3F632310 ? I will appreciate very much your help.

Re: error c7

You can reset the C7 code, hold down 0&8 power machine up. Then push 87 & print, change the number to 0 with number keys press interupt key, then press 0&9 @ the same time to exit. This should clear the C7. Let me know if you need more help.

What does an error c7 means in toshiba photocopier 1360 ?

C7 could be nothing serious but it had to of happened three times before it quit resetting itself, which means it has happened to you before. This model has a tendency to throw this code for no real threatening reason, but it is there as protection for the copier and it's environment. You really should have a tech look at it for you, and not just reset it.
Switch on the machine, holding down 0 & 8 buttons, type in 89, press the green button, enter a 0, press green button again to accept the new value. switch off & then just switch back on as normal.

Wrench light on and c7 code appear

C7 is a Fuser Error......The hot part where the paper passes through before exiting the machine is known as the Fuser or Fixing unit etc.

There are 3 parts involved and any of which when they fail will give a C7 error code. The Heating Lamp,Thermisor or Thermal Fuse.

This is a live area of the machine so you wouldnt be advised to attempt a repair without at least a restricted electrical license.

More than likely one of the parts mentioned will need to be replaced and then the C7 error count reset through "08"
