Lets see if I can Help you.
first remove your color cartridge and check it protection tape was removed. If it was reinstall color cartridge and run your page test as if you were installing your printer the first time follow the instruction step by step.
There is also a troubleshooter section in your owners manual.
I need to know if your printer recognized the new ink cartridge when you in stalled it.

try to install and reinstall the printer cartridge...and also clean the tab circuit of the cartridge and tab circuit of the printer carrier..

if the problem still exist..
rebreak the printer by full-out the power supply...to reset the settings and then turn it back...

SOURCE: Install color cartridge

You have to clear out your print queue from the computer.
The last print job you sent was set to color and so the printer now believes it needs color to print.

First you will need to unplug the power to your printer.

With windows, you need to go to your "start menu" and select "control panel" and then select "printers"

Double click on your printer icon and cancel any print jobs.

Now you can turn your printer back on.
For any future print jobs, you need to make sure you are printing in black and white.

SOURCE: My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

How do I make a test page for my printer to check color.


You need to clarify :
1. Your printer cannot print color even though it prints color well from a test page;
2. Your printer cannot print color in a test print page.

If it is the first one, then you have to set it properly in Window Print Configuration page of that printer;
If it is the second one, then you have to check whether you have installed the color ink cartridge properly in the printer. If the color ink cartridge is installed properly, try to replace another new color ink cartridge. Finally it is still not work, then you have to bring back to the repair center.

Won't print in color


How long have you had color ink cartridge in the printer for? Have you triple checked you have set the settings to print color? If it still persist then the possibilities are your ink color cartridge is out of ink? have you made sure it's installed properly?

My Pinnacle Pro 901 is set to print using black ink only but it keeps telling me I need to replace color cartridges and won't print.


You won't be able to print if one of the cartridges is out of ink. The printer needs all cartridges with sufficient ink levels to prevent damaging the printhead.

Every time a cartridge is replaced, all colors are primed simultaneously thus the need for all cartridges to have ink.

I've installed color cartridge but it won't print in color


Try to re-insert the color cartridge into the printer and make sure it is properly seated in the cartridge carrier.
If that doesn't help, try to clean the print nozzles. Please follow the steps below:
1. Press Copy. 2. Press Options until Maintenance appears on the display. 3. Press the right arrow until Clean Cartridges appears on the display. 4. Press Select. A nozzle page prints, forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the clogged nozzles. 5. Print your document again to verify that your print quality has improved.

in your printer try to press on the restart button and hold it for about 8 to 10 seconds. by the way the ink cartridges that you installed are the genuine ink cartridges, if not then its gonna be normal that it won't detect as new.

Blinking/flashing lights(orange & green) & won;t pring. Have rebooted computer and unpluged printer. still won't print.


that is because ur head of ur printing cartridge is damaged.

remove ur cartridges black as well as color
n install only black cartridge n check d blinking of lights on ur printer if it doesn't blinks it's mean ur black cartridge is OK but ur blinking of light on ur printer is same it's mean ur head of black cartridge is damaged
after this process remove the black one cartridge and install the color one cartridge n check d blinking of lights on ur printer if it doesn't blinks it's mean ur color cartridge is OK but ur blinking of light on ur printer is same it's mean ur head of color cartridge is damaged
now take a dry cotton cloth n gently clean ur cartridges head install both cartridges on ur printer n check ur blinking light on ur printer that will work only if u r too lucky other wise u have to purchase a one cartridge.

After installing re-filled ink cartridges, both color and back & white, the printer message that shows ink level still shows low level ink? How do we resolve?


Hello,

Try this procedure:
1. Open printer lid so cartridges move to center of carriage.
2. Lift clamp and remove black or color cartridge from the holder.
3. Place cartridge on table with copper contact strip facing you.
4. Carefully place a strip of clear plastic tape over the four contacts on the upper left corner of the cartridge.
5. Reinstall cartridge in printer and close lid. Wait until cartridge returns to parking position.
6. Open lid and remove cartridge again. Remove tape from left side and place tape over four contacts at upper right corner of cartridge.
7. Reinstall cartridge in printer and close lid. Wait until cartridge returns to parking position again.
8. Open lid again, remove cartridge, remove tape.
9. Reinstall cartridge and close lid.
Printer will now recalibrate. Once the process is complete the ink level meter should be reading full again.

New tri-color cartridge has a problem. I can't see what.


I have an HP Photsmart C4100 printer. I purchased remanufactured ink cartridges (both black and tri-colored) from Vivasmart. The black one works fine, but when I installed the tri-color, I got an error message that says "Print cartridge problem" The following print cartridge has a problem:
Tri-color.
And I can't print. The screen on my printer says "Remove and check color cartridge." I have done this several times and it still won't print. I have turned off the power, removed the cartridges, and unplugged the unit, but it still didn't help. Any suggestions?
