Question about Kodak EASYSHARE M340 Digital Camera
When I switch the camera on the screen is very blurry and I can't seem to be able to get it focused.
Sounds like the camera was dropped, if you look ate the camera from the sides, and the lens don't look square to the camera body, grab the lens and force it into alignment, you might hear a little POP, and thats sometimes good..BUT call your local camera shop and ask what the average cost to repair ? and always check your camera for recalls !

First verify that you didn't just accidentally turn off the LCD. To check, turn the camera on and press the "DISPLAY" or "DISP" button once. One other thing to check is that faded pictures can sometimes be caused by a stuck shutter. Potential symptoms may also include purple scratchy lines showing up on the LCD monitor and the camera's pictures. Other reported symptoms may be extremely distorted images (one reader likened them to the movie "Grudge"). Or blank or black pictures or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card. You may suspect that the camera's shutter is not opening, but this is not the case. Note that the camera's menu functions should show up without any problem. Please note that your camera must be experiencing these symptoms due to a faulty CCD, and not due to other problems. Note that they're going to look for dings and dents. This is a CCD failure and in some cases had been subject to a recall. Contact Kodak support-this may be one of the recalls and replacement camera could be on its way. They will do it for free of cost.

Please make sure that you're using fully charged battery pack.
Remove the battery and reinsert after 1 minute.
Reset the camera by following the reset procedure from the manual of the Camera.
If the issue persists again, service is required
