Question about Jandy Pool & Spa
I have a Jandy Aqualink RS system that was working fine until today. Our filter pump and heater stopped working so I opened the control box to find the cables wired to the line 1 and load 1 terminals of the 3hp relay were fried. I don't know what caused this and I don't want to replace them only to have it happen again. Any thoughts?
Those wires connect to the pump. It is overloading the system. The heater is protected by breakers so that should not be the issue. That is if the system was wired as recommended. Replace the pump if you inspect the wires and find that they are not contacting each other or ground anywhere. If they are damaged, you will have to replace the wires.

Jandy has an e pump.It would be cheaper to go that route.the Inteliflo is not compatible with the jandy system .If money is not a concern the pentair product is the way to go.
