Question about Kitchen Ranges
Sirs: Oven does not reach operating temperature. e.g., When setting is 325F, the dial readout is about 70 degrees low. Adjusting the control +/- 35 does not help. When oven reaches the set point, the relay shuts off the heating element and indicates that the 325F has been reached, even though the actual temperature is about 250F. The temperature sensor resistance is 1091 ohms, close to the 1100 ohm specs. Possibly the oven control itself is bad. I was not able to locate the part in the shopping list. Can you help? Do you have any other troubleshooting suggestions? If not, do you have a part number and place to obtane the oven control: Oven is: GE JSP28G0P2BG, SN # VG281454Q. Thanks, Dave
