Hi, Please measure all windings again and see if there is one lower than 900ohm. All CCFL might seem working but only for one second before the protection circuit cuts in. By the way, there is something that I would like to know, what is the type number of your remote control?

I think you need to check the ballast. The ballast ignites the lamp. A defective ballast to cause your screen display become dull or dim.
So, you might also need to replace the ballast.
Lastly, power problem could cause this type of problem. When the power board is not supplying full current into other parts of the TV, this can cause the display to become dim. So it is also possible that low voltage circulation in the TV is the cause of the problem. Check the power supply board for any short or obviously bad capacitor or any other component on the power board.
But check check the ballast first, if that doesn't fix things, then check the power supply board.
