The machine have not door switch. but show dE error and not wash or spine
Have you checked the filter
top loader machines have switch which is controlled as you close the top lid
have a look on the hinge side ...the switch will be just under the plate ,,you can not see it as it is operated by a lever on the lid ????you will need to remove the rear panel to see how it works //may need to change the micro switch

There is a switch in your washer,if you look on the right hand side you'll see a hole that the strike on the door closes into,that's the switch,you have to remove the spring around the rubber boot,pull the boot back on that side,remove the screws,remove the wires and reinstall the new switch

Unplug the machine.
Plug back in (maybe 10 seconds later).
Mine had several dE messages. Unpluged, waited 10 seconds, when pluged back in, it remembered which cycle and parameters I had it on, then locked the door and continued with no problem.
