Check out this pdf file from Pioneer (it's for the DEH-3100 but the wiring colors will be the same - you can disregard the IP-bus input since your DEH-31 doesn't have one).

For the car side you can probably purchase a wiring adapter that will plug into the connector that went to your factory radio - this adapter will have wires which you connect to the same color wires on your Pioneer's wiring harness.

you have the memmory wire which is usually the yellow connected to the wrong wire it should go to a straight power red should go to accessory power now you should have wire harness basically its colors match to match the colors easy if colors dont match colors you messed up now the other thing is there is about 3 fuses from sterio to battery sometimes 2; on the back of radio and in the fuse box sometimes someone just adds the 3rd to the power wire in back check fuses if hooked up right simple check take ground power and the yellow memmory take sterio to battery with fuses on all 3 hook direct to battery nothing else if sterio powers up you know you have right wires if it doesnt power up you blew it

blk-ground
yel-constant 12v
red-switched 12v
blu-power antenna
blu/wht-amp turn on
orn-illumination
Speakers- black stripes are negative.
whites-front left
greys-front rights
greens-rear left
violets-rear rights
tape off any unused wires, do not let them touch ground or any other wire.
