Hp photosmart 3310 error 0xc05d0281 How to fix this

Ink system failure and it also states inproper shut down which I did not do. Did all the resets that I could do. Please help.

SOURCE: Error HP Photosmart 3310. No strart print, no scanning...

I have a Photosmart C6180 all in one and get an error message 0xc18a0101 Ink System has failed. Unable to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to printer documentation. Error: 0xc18a101.

I put new cartridges in and tried to recalibrate as mentioned by someone on the board. Can anyone help, please?

Ink may be new, but their nozzles may be blocked; depending on manner of storage. To be sure apply a folded tissue paper to the ink nuzzle and press firmly. If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it and the nozzle is not blocked. If not blotted or scantily blotted, it means ink is really low or nuzzle is blocked. To be very sure of this, place nuzzle in a plate/saucer with a bit water so that the nuzzle is soaked. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then apply the tissue again. If still not well blotted it means ink is really low or empty. If new you should return it for a replacement. In the case of blocked nozzles, the procedure may be repeated over to get results.
If this doesn't work let me know.

Hi I found this I know your error not in here but it may work for It worth a try nothing to lose and it may work. I know your error code is not in this but it some times it clean the error with this type of error number you can gave it a go try not harm it Error code: 0xc18a0201, 0xc18a0206, 0xc18a0306, 0xc18a030a, 0xd0620130, 0x887dd03a, 0xd05d010d, 0xf0af8004, 0xc19ac3ff, 0xc18a050...

Reset the product:
1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
2. Remove the cartridges from the product.
3. Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
5. Wait 60 seconds.
6. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ).
7. Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
9. Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

If you have installed generic print cartridges, that could be your problem. I used to use an HP printer and after an update from HP to the printer I found that it was impossible to use the generic carts. HP had somehow electronically blocked the use of generics on the printer. It sits idle in my basement now because I refuse to pay their exorbitant prices for ink.

Reset the system by holding down the OK, Cancel, Black, and Color buttons at the same time and turn the 3310 off. You should keep holding the buttons down until the printer shuts off and then turns itself back on. Turn the printer off twice for the printer to recalibrate. Make sure you have new cartridges in the printer so that it can reset.

Have a hp 3310 it says ink system failure error 0xc18a0106 it wont print,scan,copy and it does have enough ink. thank 4 ur help


Turn off the machine using the power button, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges, wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the on button, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't clear the error then you may need to re-prime ink through the system to clear the error. Open the printer as if to replace an ink cartridge. On the print head there is a black plastic arm about 2 inches long. Re-connect this with the white cog wheel so that the protruding part is in the center of the black arm. Close lid, power on and job done.
