That is very possible so you need look at the lights on the front of your Arris modem. Look at the TEL lights there should be 2 but only the top one counts. If it is lit solid then you may have a bad connection check make sure your line didnt get unplugged. If its blinking constantly then that means you have a variable short in your wall jacks. In that case unplug the TEL1 cord from your wall jack and plug a stand alone phone in there. If you have no light at all on the TEL light then most likely your number has fell out of provisioning and you will need call Comcast get that fixed.
