Question about BenQ W100 DLP Projector

A shadow on the picture

There is something getting in the way, between the lamp and the lens, I guess, that is visible, as a shadow. This shadow is not covering the complete image. I thought it was that circle in front of the lamp (filter I guess), so I rotate it manually, the shadow shift to another position; I can't manage to make it disappear, because but it is shifting every time I move the projector. What can I do? Is there any repairing guide? Many thanks

The shadow could be caused by a dust partical that is trapped. You could try to dislodge it with an air duster or a vacuum with a soft brissel attachment

SOURCE: Benq Projector MP721 stops illuminating after

it might be dusty enough to hold in the heat. it needs a good cleaning. use canned air. if you still have an issue, the fans might be running too slow or the thermister (temp sensor) may be faulty. sometimes if it gets too hot in there, the thermister needs to be replaced, too.

Projector picture has a darkened quarter screen on a angle

Ok I guess you have an optical mirror chamber error sounds good doesnt it but can happen if projector has been knocked or dropped in the optical engine there is a chamber connected in between the main lamp and internal glass lens you may see it if you look inside the lamp assembly this very small chamber has four very small mirrors in it and is held in place usually by a metal plate bracket you may find one of the mirrors has moved or dropped this makes the refraction of light incorrect which will cause your dark shadow on your image screen

TOSHIBA 57LX177 SHADOW SPOT CENTER OF SCREEN

If my research is correct you recently replaced the lamp and then the "shadow spot center of screen" appeared.

Three possible reasons I can think of for this:

Something wrong with new lamp or on face of lamp--never touch the face of a lamp as oil from you hand can leave a residue and damage the lamp or cause a image issue.

Something inside on the optical lens or even the mirror causing this--not likely but possible.

A defect in the optical light engine in the set---usually if heat which comes from the lamp damages the engine it will be a color and not black---engine has a series of lens and baffles inside that heat can damage--causes minute separation inside of the lens etc.

If the old lamp works at all try putting it back to see if same issue--did you replace just the "bulb" in the housing or the whole cartridge?

If remove new lamp look at it and where it faces--usually a clear lens faces it and if some dirt on that..........

If i click for photo in day its too brightness because of that i we cant see images properlly please ressolve my problem !!

Turn off your flash light manually and avoid to capture with strong light in front of your lens (sun or lamp)
When you take picture outdoors with much light, try to shade your lens with something, use umbrella or even your own hand shadow to make a shade.

If useful, RATE please !

When pictures are taken outside during the day they are unclear with some white horizontal lines and when taken indoors its ok.tried everything the manual said but still no changes

White shadow or white lines may occur if the light was too bright when you take the picture, especially in strong sun light. Have you turn off the flash light when you taking those picture ? If you haven't, then you should try to turn off your camera flash light manually. And I must remind you not to take a picture with your lens faced the sun light or other light (lamp etc) directly. Even if you take a picture outdoors, try to make your lens shaded by something, you can even use your own shadow to shade them.

Hope this help and be kind to rate please.

I'm using the Nikon ECLIPSE e800 microscope and for some reason there is a shadow on half of my slide. Also, I can usually find and take pictures of slides with the lamp adjusted at about 5 or so but...

There are a few things that could cause a shadow in the field of view. First if the condenser is not centered, this can create a crescent shaped shadow and rob your image of light. Center the condenser and raise it to within about a 16th of an inch from the top of the stage.
Second, the slider on the head which diverts light from the eyepieces to the camera must be fully engaged to the "camera" position
Third, make sure that the diaphragm on the condenser is not closed too far. There is an adjustment ring for this. Set it to 70-80% of the numerical aperture of the objective you are using.
Fourth: if there is a "swing out" condenser lens you will need it completely in or out depending on the objective you are using. for 2x-5x you need the swing out condenser lens completely out of the light path. For objectives 10x and up you need the swing out condenser lens completely in and centered in the light path.
If these things are properly adjusted you should not have a shadow in the field of view. If you still have a problem, let me know.

Camera has a shadow in the lens when I take pictures

a possible spec of dust in the lens, if it is visible from the outside, you may clean it with a regular lens cleaner

if it is not visible, check if you will be able to open it from the back casing. the check first if you have dirt before doing any cleaning
