Pam- Have you connected directly via ether net cable when attempting to connect to that IP?

depending if its a cheap belkin or something other than a belkin look on bottom or the back of the router type in th ip address and before you do that to fully reset the router without needing a password hold in the reset button for 15 to 20 seconds to do a simple full factory password reset. hope this helps

you may need a new driver for your dlink

just open the dlink ip homepage and configure the wireless settings

No need to install the dlink on the imac. All you need to do is connect the modem first the dlink. (Modem connected to Internet or WAN port of the dlink). Now if they are connected, your imac should be plugged in to port 1 of dlink, and your PC to port 2. That should do it.

you are also able to get a couple of utilities from the dlink website; it's a very long link but this is the location for the relevent files.

First we need to find the correct ipaddress of the device.

press start -> run -> ipconfig

you should see something like this:
Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : saunalahti.fi
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::8c84:e222:b747:1969%8
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.1


Note the default gateway is the address of the device so

now open up your browser and type: HTTP://192.168.11.1
Remember to replace that ip with yours! that is how I would connect to mine :)

Then the login screen should come up. I havent looked in your manual yet but if its nesasery il look up the default passwords for you but.
