Amana washing machine mod ntw4750yqo wont start no lights does nothing

If the washer is acting as if it is getting no power, but you have checked the power wall outlet ... there is a chance that the power cord itself has failed. I found a reference to someone who had a pinched power cord that had shorted out ... resulting in the washer getting zero power.
Carefully inspect your cord ... but the challenge is that you may not be able to see visible damage.
Another reason for no power to the washer can be that an internal non-replaceable fuse on the circuit board has blown.

My atf6000fs1 front loading washer is tripping the GFCI outlet instantly when the washer starts. Any suggestions for where to start looking? I used an extension chord to test it on multiple GFCI's i

Hello friend, thanks for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire washer, ATF6000FS1, is tripping the GFCI outlet in your home. Typically for any Frigidaire appliances it is not recommended to be plugged into a GFCI outlet or extension cord. I would recommend trying a different outlet to see what the outcome is. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Bought the Frigidaire 6000 BTU Window Room Air Conditioner LRA067AT7 6 months ago and it worked fine until last week, It will not turn on although plugged in and the wall outlet is good. Is there an auto...

Good Morning Luca,

I understand your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# LRA067AT7, will not turn on. I also see that the wall outlet is good, so you are wondering if there is an automatic shut off if the filter has not been cleaned. Your air conditioner does not have an automatic shut off, if the filter has not been cleaned. Please start by cleaning the filter. You can do this easily with the following instructions:
The air filter should be checked at least once a month to see if cleaning is necessary. Trapped particles in the filter can build up and cause an accumulation of frost on the cooling coils.

1)Push the vent handle to the Vent Closed position (where applicable).
    2)Open the front panel.
3)Grasp the filter by the center and pull up and out.
4)Wash the filter using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse filter thoroughly. Gently shake excess water from the filter. Be sure filter is thoroughly dry before replacing
5)Or instead of washing, you may vacuum the filter clean.

Also, be sure your air conditioner is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards. Your air conditioner must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle. Do not run your air conditioner without outside protective cover in place. This could result in mechanical damage within your air conditioner. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug.

The power supply cord contains a current device that senses damage to the power cord. To test
your power supply cord do the following:

      1)Plug in your Air Conditioner.
2)The power supply cord will have TWO buttons on the plug head. Press the TEST button. You will notice a click as the RESET button pops out.
3)Press the RESET button. Again you will notice a click as the button engages.
4)The power supply cord is now supplying electricity to the unit. 4)

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

      -Best Regards-

Hp color laserjet cp1215 wont turn on

try a different outlet, especially if you are using a power strip. Sometimes even one outlet in a strip can fail. Not sure how farther you tried other than check the power cord. If other devices work on the same outlet hole you plugged you machine into then, try another power cord. If that does not help then you will need to seek a tech.

The power wont come on we've cheked the power point and it's fine. Just the walker wont start no lights no sounds

Dear Sir:
Thank you by your question, here some answer:
PROBLEM: The power does not turn on SOLUTION: a. Make sure that the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet . Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all of the specifications . Important: The treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. b. After the power cord has been plugged in, make sure that the key is inserted into the console. c. Check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes as shown, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset the circuit breaker, wait for five minutes.and then press the switch back in. d) Please check the power cord maybe is broker Testign with DVOM(Digital Voltimeter). e) Test the circuit breaker of the House, and Reset, see in outlet box if some wiring is loose.
Thank you in advance, sincerely. Blessing.

A/C runs three to four minutes; shuts off. Press, reset button, on the power cord (note: a/c inserted in power strip; and I've tried other outlets, as well).

The Power Strip may just be the problem. As far as I know, there are no manufacturers that approve the use of a Power Strip, for their AC unit to be plugged into. I know of two units, that had their electronics fried, while being plugged into a power strip. Which brings us, to the point, that your AC may already being showing the results of being plugged into a power strip. Most don't encourage an plain extension cord

Plug the unit directly into a wall outlet and try lowering the temperature by 3 to 5 degrees F, to see if it will run longer. Also, check your air intake filter and clean it, if necessary.

If the icontinues to turn OFF prematurely, it may be time to decide whether to repair or replace.

I hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.
