SOURCE: My Dell Dimension 3000 won't power up

Hi, check your power switch on back of the tower, make sure its on. Check the cable for damage, make sure power outlet is working. If this is all ok, then your fuse in your powersupply probably went. Dont bother replacing it. just get a new power supply, seeing as they are only around 20$ i think.

All the lights on my projector are blinking except for the power and lamp.

I would try cleaning the filter(s). It may be overheating. I used my air compressor to clean them out. The filters can get very dirty and the unit overheats.

Good luck,

Why does my Dell 1510X Projector not shut off when I push the off button ?

This projector as with most high power projectors will have a cool down period for the lamp once the power button is pushed from on to off. For this model, the cool down period is 120 seconds after which the unit will fully power down. You can override this cool down period by pushing and holding the power button for 1 seconds. If you use this procedure though, you should not power up the projector again for at least 60 seconds to allow the internal temperatures to stabilize.

My dell v305w wont power up

If you have tried plugging it in to a different power outlet or used a different power cable and the issue is still the same then it can be a major hardware issue. You can call Dell Technical Support so that they can just replace the printer if its still under warranty.
Hope this helps

When i plug my projector into my laptop the screen on laptop goes black

Depending on the windows and your computer, your settings may have the laptop's monitor shutoff when connected to an external device such as a projector. You need to find the settings and use (i believe its called something like) dual screen mode. I had to do this for my hp laptop with windows 7. Feel free to write me back.
