Question about Computers & Internet
Make sure your firewall is not blocking your ability to go to websites. I saw this the other day, somehow the users firewall was set to block all internet traffic out of the computer.
Disconnect ALL cables from the modem and router: internet cable, power, (and ethernet). You can leave the computers on, but if this doesn't work , try it with the computers off.
Connect the modem, cable, ethernet, and power. modem .
Connect power on router, Wait until router has a connection
then connect ethernet from modem,
then one by one connect the computer ethernet lines to the router.
