When i take shots with my nikon d1x it show black in the lcd screen.Any one that can answer

I don't have a manual of the D1 (they are still online for free with Nikon) so In a detail I could be wrong, But when setting up the delay time for monitor off, you can select monitor off. Check n the settings (C5 or so) if you selected a delay time, or accidentally choose for monitor off.

I have a D1X camera and I it was working fine. I took out the CF card to empty the pics and when I put it back in, formatted it, not it won't take pictures. The menu has FL under the REM and only [ 1] as...

You might not believe this but the biggest CF card for that camera was a 128mb. So I'd say it's time for you to update the camera firmware on the Nikon site it's painless and "Free".

Problems taking pictures on nikon d1x

There may be something wrong with the camera. Make sure it is set to Single Exposure setting and not Multiples. There should be a control on the top left to change this. Look for an "S". this is what you want. If that doesnt help, you may need to get it repaired.

Try a new battery - The D1 series will refuse to take pictures in this manner if power is low or inconsistent.
