SOURCE: my email and password has been hacked how can i

Good Day Tillyohara!

I am sorry to hear that your Yahoo Mail account has been hacked. Truly, if they hacked your Yahoo Mail account, then most of the sites that is associated with your Yahoo account might be accessed too. Just like what happened to your Facebook account.

You can try two procedures that might help you recover your Yahoo Mail account.

1. If you are lucky, and the hacker have not changed your security questions and answers,
you can go to
https://edit.yahoo.com/forgot?stage=fe100&src=ym&intl=us&done=http://mail.yahoo.com&partner=
Follow the on screen procedure, it will verify your identity, at the end you might get lucky again to reset the password.

2. Using your new mail account (tillyohara23@hotmail.co.uk), write an email to account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com
Tell them the story about your problem and your interest to get your Yahoo Mail Account back.
They will response to your immediately and ask for some verification regarding the information you enter when you first created the account.

Or, you can contact their Account Security department for your account verification.
Account Verification department can be reached at:
866-850-4303
TTY 866-438-1601
The Account Verification team is available between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.

Please be aware that you will be asked for all of your verification information before they can offer assistance.

If there is anything that I can provide to you to help you further, just leave a comment.

You can comeback later and give my answers your four thumbs up rating.

SOURCE: I have forgot my password

your best bet is to contact hotmail, i would think. Im under the impression that if you can identify some of the emails that youve recently received to their tech staff, they can acertain that you've indeed had access to that account (they want to make sure your not just trying to break into someone else's account). be aware this may me a lengthy process. you may want to create a temporary gmail account to use as a way for their tech to communicate with you. i've done this with gmail, i dont know about hotmail, but would like to think they are capable of doing the same thing. cheers, and good luck:)

I want to change my Hotmail (outlook) password I've been told my outlook has been hacked.

How to Change a Hotmail Account Password Two Methods:Changing a Password From Your AccountChanging a Forgotten Password or Recovering an Account
Outlook.com is the new name for Microsoft's web email service, formerly known as Hotmail and Windows Live Mail. If you have a Hotmail account, you can still access it through the Outlook.com website. You can change your password from your account settings or you can have your password reset if you can't remember it. If you don't have a recovery account associated with your Hotmail account, you will need to fill out a questionnaire so that Microsoft can verify your identity.

Sign in to Outlook (formerly Hotmail). Enter your Hotmail address and password to login and open your inbox.

Verify your account (if necessary). You may be asked to verify your account if you are using a browser you don't normally use. Microsoft will send a code to your backup email address. If you don't have access to your backup email address, select "I don't have these anymore".

Click the "Change password" link. This is located under the "Password and security info" section of the Overview.

Enter in your current password, and then enter a new password. There are three fields in the "Change your password" page. The first is for your old password, and the second two are for your new password. You will need to enter the new password twice in order to confirm it. Click the Save button.
    • This password is your Microsoft account password. That means that anything else that uses a Microsoft account, such as Windows 8, SkyDrive, or Skype, will need to have the new password entered the next time you log in.
    • If you are worried about your account security, you can have Microsoft ask you to make you change your password every 72 hours. To enable this, check the box at the bottom of the page.

Choose how you want to receive your reset link. If you have another email address attached to your account, you can have the password reset link sent to that email address. If you don't, you can click the "I don't have any of these" option. This will open a questionnaire which will help Microsoft verify your identity.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-14.jpg7
Fill out the questionnaire if necessary. Enter in an email address that you can be reached at. Answer all of the questions provided to the best of your ability to help verify your account. Using the questionnaire can take up to 24 hours to receive a response. This is the only way to recover your account if you don't have a secondary email address.
    • Do not trust any site that claims to have a toll-free number to recover your account password. There is no number that you can call to recover your account.
  • 670px-change-a-hotmail-account-password-step-15.jpg8
Reset your password. When you get the password reset link, you will be allowed to enter in a new password. You will need to enter it twice in order for it to take effect. You can now use this new password to sign in to your Outlook account.[1]
    • This password is your Microsoft account password. That means that anything else that uses a Microsoft account, such as Windows 8, SkyDrive, or Skype, will need to have the new password entered the next time you log in.

I cannot access my ipad account for sylviajohn@hotmail.com

first of all, never, never, never post your actual email account on a public website, unless you want a bunch of weirdo people to start texting and sending you emails. Secondly, there should have been security questions only you could answer in order for them to send you a temporary passcode. They would send it directly to either a cell phone or an alternate email account. If you didn't set up these precautions; I suggest you either set up a new account or contact the Hotmail people and reset your account passcode through them. You can do this on a laptop or home computer. "Contact Us: or Forgot my Password:"

    Pattern Password ??????
    Which email account ?????...
Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Gmail make it easy for email account holders to request an old password.
You must know your complete email address and have an alternative email address or cell phone number where a confirmation code can be sent.
If you cannot get your password back, your email provider will delete the old one. You can then create a new password.
Go to the email provider's website. For example, if your email address is registered with Yahoo!, go to Yahoo.com and if your email address is registered with Hotmail, go to Hotmail.com.
Find the sign-in section on the main page of the website.
You will see one box for your email ID and one for your email password.

Click the link that says, "Forgot your password?" if you're trying to recover a password belonging to a Hotmail email account.
Click the link that says, "Can't Access Your Account?" if you want to recover a password belonging to a Yahoo! or Gmail email account.
Check the circle indicating that you need to recover your password.
A page under the heading, "Reset your password," will appear.
You'll be asked to enter your email address.
Enter the characters in the picture box to confirm that your request is authentic. Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Google employ this security feature to stop automated programs from illegally accessing email accounts.
    Click "Continue."
Confirm your cell phone number or alternate email address, which the email provider will use to send a confirmation code.
Do not exit from this page.
    You will need it later.
Go back to the page where you confirmed your cell phone number.
Enter the confirmation code that you received.
    Click "Next."
Enter a new password, if requested, or sign in using your old password, which will appear on screen.

Sir, i am enable to open my account (d_c

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID or password, go to the Sign-in Problems page.
If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you need to provide three pieces of information so we can confirm your identity:
    • Your birthday
    • Your ZIP or postal code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)
    • Your alternate email address -Note: You must have access to this email address
    • Country code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)
Be sure to provide the same information you gave the last time you registered for a new Yahoo! ID or password or the last time you updated your account.
If you forgot your password, you can create a new one. But first you'll have to provide the following information so we can confirm your identity:
    • Your Yahoo! ID
    • Alternate email address, mobile phone number, or the answers to your secret questions
A Reset Your Password link will be sent to your alternate email address. Click the link and enter your new password in the Reset your password page.
If you entered your secret question incorrectly or forgot what you originally entered, for security reasons, we cannot tell you what your Yahoo! ID is or let you create a new password.
