Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I am replacing my car stereo in my saturn, and am not getting any power to the new stereo. We hooked it up to the battery and it works there but not when we plug it into the harness. The old stereo works but new ones doesn't. We checked the fuses, and the radio one blew, so we replaced it and it blew again so (both times after we plugged in OLD radio)so we put in a 15 instead of a 10. Not sure what else it could be???? help please......

SOURCE: problem with new ink cartridge
More that likely the refilled ink cartridges are faulty and should be replaced. While some folks have pretty good luck with refilled cartridges, it is generally better to stick with the new ones.
As to the problem with old cartridges, keep in mind that the estimated ink levels are just that - estimates. However, if your printer has an option for cleaning the cartridges, try that before chunking them. Take them out, put them back in, and run the cleaning process. Sometimes the nozzles can get clogged up and running the cleaning process will clear them up. ( DO NOT TRY TO CLEAN THE CARTRIDGES MANUALLY!)
If none of this helps, you will more than likely just need to get some new cartridges. - Graye

SOURCE: Hi on my hp psc2110
most likely some problem with the cartridge itself.
if you are using "aftermarket" cartridges, that is usually why the printer doesnt full recognise it...if using a real hp cartridge, there might be a problem with the little circuit board (that is under the tape strip when new)...try returning it to the store where you bought it and asking for a replacement.

I had that same problem with my CX5800F. I tried it in several working outlets and shut down/started up many times. Tech support couldn't figure it out so they had me sent it back for a replacement. Several days later, before I packaged it up for shipment, I decided to test it out one more time, and it powered on! I sent for a replacement anyways. Since it's still under the 1-warranty, I'd suggest sending it back for a new one if all else fails. Good luck!

not sure if your still looking for a solution or not but here you go. that orange and white wire is normally the wire that controls the dimmer within the stereo. when you dim the dash light the factory radio lights dim and that wire is suppose to make the new radio do that also. in my past i have found that only about 30 percent of the aftermarket radios actually do that when hooked up. give this a try and let me know. good luck
