SOURCE: screen hinge too loose
a the base of the screen you may see some scews that cover access panels, open them up and you can tighten the little nut that tensions the hinge. I had a laptop that was shaky and I tightened the hinges and it was OK after that.

you can lift up the little round circles take out all screws, take top off, to lcd find the little gold nuts that the screws go into, try to put them back in plastic holes with super or gorilla glue,
or order screen parts on ebay, hinges usually get worse unless you find a way to secure those brackets attached to hinges

SOURCE: laptop hinges are loose
The hinges can be loose in two different areas, but the most popular is the hinge attachment point behind the screen bezel. Remove the rubber screw covers from the bezel, remove the screws, take your finger nailas and from the inside of the bezel pull gently to the outside to release the catches on the screen lid. Start on one side and work your way around the screen until the bezel pops loose. Look at the bottom of the screen and you will see the hinge attachment points. Tighten them up. If you have some locktite this would be a good time to apply it, remove the screws one at a time and replace. To replace the bezel, always start at the bottom and work your way up.

You can do multiple things:
1.) try defragmenting the hard-drive
2.) you can increase the amount of ram if not already maxed out
3.) update the drivers
4.) If all else fails there's always Linux
