SOURCE: Dell 810 Cooling Fan

Just a thought, but if you don't have your LT on a hard surface so it can breathe, it will overheat and cause the fan to run continuously. My Dell 600LT vents out the bottom left and if this vent is blocked, it will overheat. Good luck.

SOURCE: the cooling fan keeps running

The fan is suppose to run until engine cools off. If battery drains before cooling down a good place to start is a weak battrey

that's normal when hot, but should't run down the battery. if severly overheats ffnd/fix that problem. the other will probably dissapear . if not excessively hot then the fan heat sensor is faulty....

SOURCE: My dayton NG heater fan will not shut off properly

Sounds like a bad fan switch. The switch is located on the heat exchanger and is 110 volt bi-metal switch. Follow the wires from the blower going back to the heatexchanger. Graingers can get you a new switch if you give them your model number. www.grainger.com.

We have Frigidaire Upright Freezer. After 6-7 days its stops cooling as its condenser gets ice around it whereas the fan is working good. We clean the ice and it again starts working/cooling.

There are a few possibilities. Freeze-ups are a result of the unit either not having sufficient airflow or the compressor running too long and too often. As you note the fan is good, chances are airflow is not the issue. There are a few quick items that you can check on:

1. Check door seals. Leaks will cause the interior to lose cooling faster and result in compressor overloading.
2. Do not overload the freezer. Too much inside the freezer will cause loss of airflow INSIDE the unit and can cause issues.
3. Avoid putting too much unfrozen material into the freezer at once. It takes a lot of work to remove all the heat from a large amount of material.
4. Avoid multiple opening and closing of the door. Upright freezers are inefficient as they lose all their cold air as soon as you open the door. Chest freezers do better if you must go into the unit often.

Lastly, undercharged refrigerant system can cause the same issue. If you don't have any of the other problems noted, have a serviceman check the refrigerant and fill the system as needed.

Freezer not cooling

The clicking you are hearing is probably the compressor trying to run but shuts down after the minute. If your refrigerator has a fan cooling the compressor make sure if is running and the coils are not blocked with lint. A warm compressor is a good sign a hot one is not. The compressor start device or relay could be causing the problem.

My 30000w fan forced ouelette heater runs but does not heat

Did you ever get this issue resolved?
I just purchased a Ouellett 5000w heater, it runs fine, but does not seem to get very hot at all. I checked and the voltage and current are correct. If I pull the fan wire off, the elements get red hot within one minite, as soon as I re-hook the fan up the elements start to cool. yet the voltage and amperage are still correct (20.5a 240v)

My electric heater is on off why is there warm air coming from the furnace is this normal

That is not normal. It is normal for the sequencer to shut down in an orderly manor however. The heating needs being met the the power is shut down to the sequencer and it shuts down when the bi-metal inside it cools down. If all of the coils and fan were energized the load would be too much so the heating coils are powered up in stages. That does 2 things. Keeps from tripping the breaker and ensures warm air comes out the vents when the fan comes on. You may have a problem with a sticky sequencer.

When Thermostat is satisfied and shuts down the furnace, the furnace fan will not shut off. It is supposed to continue to run but only for a short time. This one will not shut off at all.

Your thermostat has a feature for the fan AUTO or ON. If it is in the AUTO position and still won't shut down then I would check the Fan relay. Newer models have a control board with the relays built into them so the control board would be suspect. Older models use a Fan/limit. The limit has a probe in it. As the heater warms the bi-metal inside it twists around and the fan comes on at about 110f. When the thermostat is satisfied the burner shuts down but the fan still runs till the heater cools down the bi-metal cools off and shuts down that fan. These will hang up with age.

Kenmore refrigerator stop cooling but fan working

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

You can turn the defrost timer till it clicks and everything shuts down. The heater should now come on. If it does, replace the timer. If it doesn't, check the heater and defrost thermostat. Turn the timer again till everything starts back up to end the defrost cycle.

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

I have an outside vented wall mounted heater. It heats the room and before it shuts off the room gets as cold as when it started running.does that make sense?

What you might be hearing is the fan before it shuts down, the burners quit long before that. You might have a sticking fan switch thats letting the blower run to long and blowing cool air. You didnt say if your unit has a blower, I have to assume.
