Are you sure it's flooding or starving itself of gas? Rent a fuel pressure gauge from auto zone and check your fuel pressure is exactly what it is supposed to be. Fuel pump can warm itself up and and kinda fizzle out so check when warm and cold.
If we are talking about the rear brake and it is a drum brake(some have rotors), the drum brake is also your Emergency brake.
The Emergency brake has a cable and it often is self-adjusting. What has probably happened in your car is that the adjuster has tightened up and the OFF position is too tight for the thickness of the new brake material.
The cable winds on a reel in the Emergency brake assembly for those units with self-adjusters. Simple lock-nuts manually adjust the cable on other units.
So what you want to do is unreel the self-adjuster by keeping your fingers clear and pushing a release tab on the Emergency brake cable reel. Or manually back off the manually adjusting lock nuts on the brake cable. You may have to work loose the rust in the pivot at the backing plate.
Once you get the pivot to fully swing into the drum, the adjuster will contract enough for the drum to fit.
The lifters are not supposed to be adjusted. Each lifter is a small "engine" itself. They are supposed to be self-adjusting (this was changed way back in the 1950's). If you are determined to adjust them, you will need to contact a place that builds race car engines, because there are procedures race cars use that adjust them. Oh yes, you can also replace hydraulic lifters with solid lifters. Some race cars do, and that is because, at really high RPM's, lifters can :"float", causing the engine to "top out" and not go any faster. I had that happen on a car back in the 1970's. Be blessed.
in manual mode, will not try to focus itself, my be the manual auto switch is faulty, or the focus related mechanism not rotating the lens, open the lens carefully check the focus motor and gear set (engine is the technical term)
If the screen is out of focus you probably need to adjust the focus on the focus block it is usually located behind the front grill, there are 6 adjustment screws on this block, leave the screen controls along just adjust the red, green, and blue focus screws. When converging a set everything is converged to the green, the blue and red are suppose to come to the green.
The auto self focus screws up if the picture does not remain constant or close to it while focusing. It is designed to self focus every fifteen minutes. Go to menu and then setup and turn the auto focus feature off. I have had mine off for the past year and have had no problems. If you slide the bottom portion of the remote down you will see a self focus button. My suggestion is to put a DVD in and hit the pause button during a scene and then hit the self focus button. It should align back up and may take a couple of tries. (If you have an aftermarket remote, just enter the menu and then setup and you can activate the self focus feature, just don't turn it to auto focus!)
Go into the menu, then go down to "Function", then go to "Convergence". You can then go to the "Red" or "Blue" option and adjust each seperately. This will have to be done with your remote control. Just follow the on-screen instructions.....
