i have the same problem with my prrimos truthcam. one SD card works fine and one says "SOFUL" and will not take anymore pics. There is a weird .if file on the card. not sure where it came from. but my other card works. I may try to reformat the card somehow, but the other option is just get another $10 card
HI, I just got off the phone with a very nice man in NJ at Digitac. He walked me through a few fixes: Try a different SD card, clear SD card, put SD card in and then start camera, start camera and then put SD card in. None worked, so he said something is wrong with the camera computer and I will have to send the camera in for warranty work.
Your camera is programed for SD memory cards from 8MB through to 2gig if you have put a SD card in the camera larger then 2gig it can't read it. If you are under the 2gig maximum then it's possible the SD card is in the lock position. At the top left corner there is a little white slider type switch make sure this switch is pushed forward to the top of the card in the direction of the gold contacts. Also a new card will need to be formatted for the camera to read the card properly. See page 11 screen shot I have provided for correct card installation.
Also page 12 for the formatting of the memory card.
