How do i remove a tooth brush in my dryer vent?

Try to pull out from lint filter door. If not try to access from back vent tube. Remove the house vent line and then look into machine inside vent line. It is a 4" diamter hole.

If no luck then you have to access the blower wheel compartment. It depends on your model how to access the blower wheel compartment

We have a viking cook top and the vent goes up and down but the fan does not always turn on ? Can you help

Hi,
Some units have a dead man switch, which means that if the filters are not in place correctly the blowers will not operate. Its a safety thing to prevent little ones from dropping toys into a running blower. Double check the filters placement, if the filters are in the proper location than I would look at the power to the blower unit. The vent has two jobs, (1) to raise and lower, (2) to turn on the blower unit once in the full up position. If this is not the case, the upper switch in the vent system has failed. If you already confused, you will need to call a Viking expert to correct this problem. Its not difficult but can be time consuming.
I hope this helps
I have seen this problem twice and found the filters were the problem, rarely replace blower motors..

Have a 7 yr old maytag dryer it seems to heat up fine and everything but we have to redry clothes 2 or three times and dryer vent is not plugged

You possibly have a stripped blower wheel . On Maytags , either blower or clogged vent is the problem when too long to dry . Suggest removing vent hose and feel if you have good exhaust air . If not , blower wheel bad , if so , vent problem . Try drying a load without vent hose connected to dryer .

Vents in the Viking hood fall out on their own

Remove the filters.
The slot that the filters sit in at the rear edge, can be removed, it is basically hooked into place.

When you remove it you will see that the sides are different, reinstall it with the smaller edge hooked thus leaving the larger edge to hold the filters in place.

I hope this is clear.

Maytag dryer

it sounds like there is no air flow check outside of home where vent exits house there should be strong air flow it either a blocked venting or a bad blower fan in the dryer most likely blocked venting start outside then work your back to the dryer if no air flow outside remove venting from the dryer ifgood air flow here the vent is blocked if not blower fan most likely broken these blower fans drive hub round out on the motor shaft of the motor but it would be very loud this should fix it for you thanks kevin

Viking hood damper

Remove the blower and reach up into the duct through the back flow damper and put weather stripping on the 2 edges that are chattering, it will greatly reduce the noise
