How to block the facebook account for accessing anybody from my system? I'm the administrator to this system. Works on Win-8Pro.

You have to go to Facebook to your personnel setting and there you can do just about everything.you can change your preferences their is where you will find how to change your preferences which include who can see your account.I set up my account and made it that my family can see my preferences.
As my family is not using Facebook
I effectively made my account unavailable to the test of my account including friends.

How can I see gracelyn friends in Facebook

She has to a)accept you as a friend and b)change her preferences to accept friends and family and allow them to see their Facebook friends stories. The security is the little lock on top right bar, scroll down to see more settings and that is where you set who sees who's Facebook stories and pictures.

Repeated password requests

OS X does that now if you are running programs that can modify your system / hard drive.

You can change some settings in:
Apple menu
System Preferences
Security & Privacy
Unlock using Lock Icon bottom left,
Change the 'Allow Apps Downloaded From' setting.
Click to lock to save changes.

All the best to you,
Kerry

Cannot turn mute off as it is grey in system preferences

Never seen the system preferences have the sound grey'd out so you cant change it. I guess my 2 suggestions would be - 1 when your in system preferences for sound, check to see if the paddlock down at the bottom is locked or open. If its locked, enter your admin name/password to unlock, then you should be able to make changes and relock it. 2 - if that doesnt work, check software update or check to see if somehow you lost the driver to your sound card. If that's the case, just re-download it from apple's site under support for your model of mac

I bought a used Xbox360 and the family timer is set on it. I want to reset this but unable to. There is a description on here that is a gentleman explaining how to solve the issue but its not working for...

When the Xbox 360 Family Settings are first setup, you are required to give it a four-button pass code in order to add or change settings.

There are two ways to edit or remove the Family Timer.

If you do have the pass code:
  1. Go to My Xbox and open System Settings.
  2. Select Family Settings, Console Controls.
  3. Enter your pass code.
  4. Select Family Timer.
  5. Select Disable.
  6. Select Done.
  7. Select Yes, save changes.
Now your timer should be disabled!

If you do not have the pass code:
  • Try contacting the previous owner.
  • Call Xbox Customer Support at 1-800-469-9269

Open System Preferences, in your Applications Folder, and go to the Network pane. That's where your settings go--you will need them from your ISP.
